What our plumber found
Travis found that these valves could not be replaced on their own without changing out the whole washer box. Knowing the delivery was the next morning, the homeowner chose to have it done that night after hours.
How we fixed it
Travis cut a hole in the drywall, removed the old washer box and connected a new box with new shut-off valves to the existing drain and PEX water lines. He tested the box to make sure everything worked with no leaks, then screwed the drywall back in place. We referred a drywall pro for the finish repair, since we do not do drywall.
