The hard-water problem
The water's so hard that it's ruining people's faucets extremely fast. Calcium builds up and starts ruining them.
Reverse osmosis is faucet-specific
Reverse osmosis systems will do that for your drinking water, but they are limited to that specific faucet, not everything.
How we choose and install a system
- We install Kind and Halo water filtration systems.
- We size the system to your home's water demand and incoming main, so a 1-inch main isn't choked down at the filter and you keep enough flow for multiple showers.
- We install it near your main water shutoff. If the shutoff is in the middle of the house, we route an up-and-over line through the garage.
- A typical whole-home install takes about a day, including flushing, setup and backwash timers.
- Sealed canister systems typically last around 10 years. Filter-based systems need periodic filter changes, and we can remind you when it's time.
