Before and after

What the customer called about
An Owasso homeowner noticed water on the kitchen floor coming out from under the cabinets and shut off the water to the house until we could get there.
What our plumber found
Michael and Conner did testing and diagnostics and were pretty sure the leak was under the slab. We had the homeowner call Help Services, the leak locating company we work with, and they came out the same day. The leak was on a half-inch copper line under the slab going to the outside hydrant.
How we fixed it
We kept the line in the wall going to the hydrant so the water could be turned back on to the house. Instead of busting up the slab, the repair runs a new half-inch water line down the kitchen wall to the hydrant. Because there was water damage, we also referred the homeowner to a water restoration company, who came out the same day to start testing and mitigation.
What this means for your home
As Michael explains it, once the leak is located you have the option of busting up the slab, or "75% of the time you can actually reroute the water line" so you don't have to bust through the floor. Here a short reroute down the wall did it.
